Headstock & Nut System
A modern evolution of the flat Fender-style reverse headstock. Compact and retainer-free.
Graduated break angles allow the nut to participate more uniformly in the system.
As string tension rises, angles relax, creating a smooth, balanced feel from treble to bass while improving overall playability.

Foundation – Bloom
- Top & body: Walnut top over Northern Ash → slightly more damping, rounded mids, natural bloom
- Fretboard: Figured Chechen → smooth response, slightly softer attack than ebony, complements walnut’s tonal balance.
- Overall feel: Slightly forgiving, notes develop naturally, energy disperses gradually.
- Typical weight: ~7-7.5lbs
Foundation – Stasis
- Top & body: Poplar burl top over Mahogany → increased damping with a strong low-mid fundamental and long sustain
- Fretboard: Ebony → restores attack clarity and controls low-mid spread from the mahogany body
- Overall feel: Firm but elastic; notes start cleanly, then bloom without losing definition
- Typical weight: ~6.5-7lbs
Foundation – Edge
- Top & body: Ash top over Roasted Ash → very stiff, fast rebound, high transient response.
- Fretboard: Ebony → sharper attack, more immediate note definition, emphasizes clarity.
- Overall feel: Precise, responsive, notes hit immediately, reveals technique clearly.
Typical weight: ~6.75-7.5lbs
Body Shapes
Signature — A modernized Strat-inspired shape, designed for maximum comfort and playability. The treble horn sweeps away from the body, giving easier access to the upper frets while maintaining a balanced, resonant feel. Its slightly reshaped contours make it feel natural whether you’re sitting or standing.
Echo — A familiar Strat/RG-inspired silhouette that blends classic ergonomics with modern refinements. The body proportions and horn placement make it instantly recognizable, providing a balanced feel with smooth upper-fret access and a versatile response.
Both Bloom, Stasis and Edge are available in either shape, so you can pair your preferred response with the body that best suits your playing style.
Availability & Ordering
Foundation Series instruments are produced in consistent, small-batch runs—usually two guitars per month.
